Job Description

Hey SC Filmmakers,

I am a South Carolina-based writer/director looking for a talented, SC-resident Director of Photography to officially attach to my upcoming South Carolina Indie Grants application ($25,000–$45,000 budget tier).

The Vision: This short is a visually distinct, narrative piece that will heavily influence a planned theatrical stage play adaptation down the line. I am looking for a collaborator who wants to help establish a powerful visual language from the ground floor.

The Deal: This is an application attachment. If we win the grant, you are locked in as our DP at a fully paid, competitive professional daily rate. If we do not win, your obligation ends.

Note on Crew: Per Indie Grants guidelines, our below-the-line camera department will be staffed by Trident Tech film students. You will have the opportunity to bring on/hire a professional 1st AC to help supervise, making this a great mentorship opportunity alongside your creative work.
