
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and organized Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join the team behind Geometry Dash Lite, one of the most iconic rhythm-based platformer games in the world. In this role, you will help build a positive and productive work environment for developers, designers, artists, and community managers who work together to keep the game evolving.
As an HR Specialist, you will play a key role in recruiting top talent, supporting employee development, and maintaining a strong company culture that values creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage the hiring process for game developers, artists, designers, and support staff.
Create and post job descriptions on gaming and tech recruitment platforms.
Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and assist in final hiring decisions.
Employee Relations
Support employees with HR-related questions and workplace concerns.
Promote a healthy, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
Help maintain company policies and ensure they align with company values.
Onboarding & Training
Organize onboarding programs for new team members.
Coordinate training opportunities and professional development.
Ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the development team.
Performance Management
Assist with performance reviews and feedback systems.
Help managers set goals and track employee development.
Company Culture & Engagement
Plan team activities, internal events, and engagement initiatives.
Encourage creativity and collaboration within the team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
2+ years of HR experience (preferably in tech, gaming, or creative industries).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with recruitment platforms and HR management tools.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for video games, especially rhythm or indie games.
Experience working with remote or distributed teams.
Knowledge of HR software or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Understanding of creative industry workflows.
