A portrait of Tibetan master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu and his son who was reluctant to follow in his footsteps. Escaping Tibet in 1959, Norbu settled in Italy where he married, spread his teachings and had two children of which Yeshi is the oldest. Despite being recognized as the reincarnation of a famous spiritual master, Yeshi breaks away, choosing a self-determined life over a pre-destined future. Growing up in Italy, he never wanted to have anything to do with this spiritual legacy.
