Actors read from the hundreds of thousands of condolences from U.S. citizens to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy following the Nov. 22, 1963, assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas. The film also recounts major events from his presidency, including the inauguration of the Peace Corps, the Bay of Pigs invasion and the military escalation in Vietnam.
