Chinese-American filmmaker Theresa Loong profiles her father, who has experienced much in his long life. Fifty years her senior, Paul Loong was held in two Japanese POW camps during World War II. After the war, he yearned to become an American, and eventually immigrated to the States. The documentary also examines the bonds of the father-daughter relationship and the themes of growing older, immigration and racism.
