A look at a 1967 social experiment at a Palo Alto high school conducted by teacher Ron Jones, whose idea to demonstrate the roots and power of fascism to his sophomore history class spiraled out of control. The film features recollections from Jones, school administrators and his former students, who include codirector and debut filmmaker Philip Neel.
