Photogenic cheese boards fanned with spiraling wedges of artisanal cheeses and gorgeous seasonal fruit may be clogging the Instagram feeds of the food-obsessed, but we’re just going to say it: there’s no such thing as too many cheese boards. Which is why we approached Kat Turner, chef at super stylish Highly Likely Café in Los Angeles, to make her version of the ultimate cheese board featuring local artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and California Prunes. To round out the board, she whipped up a tangy prune mostarada, prunes in a sweet and savory pink peppercorn and Earl Grey syrup, and built a cheese board guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser at any gathering.
