"7000 Miles to Freedom" is the story of Nami Kim, an activist who has dedicated her life to fighting the dog meat trade industry in Korea. Over the past 7 years, Nami has rescued over 1600 dogs facing certain death and coordinated the logistics of finding them loving owners around the world.
This documentary follows our team of three from Pittsburgh as we travel to South Korea to meet Nami, learn about her efforts, and then return to the United States with six of her dogs.
This project was recently nominated for an Emmy Award.
