And Now, Love tells the story of the remarkable 96-year-old Dr. Bernard Bail, who revolutionized the psychoanalytic process with a daring new theory he calls “the mother’s imprint,” an idea that strikes at the root of all mental illness. A decorated Jewish-American World War II hero, Air Force lead radar navigator Bail guided his team on 25 missions before being shot down over Nazi Germany. Recovering from his injuries, he began a clandestine affair with his German nurse, Irmgard, who introduced him to a spiritual love unlike any he had known before and became the guiding light for his life and career.
