"American Gothic" is an American supernatural/cult horror series created by Shaun Cassidy and executive producer Sam Raimi (Spider-man, Evil Dead). It was produced by Renaissance Pictures for CBS/Universal TV. The story takes place in the fictional town of Trinity, South Carolina, and revolves around Caleb Temple (Lucas Black) who has ghostly visits from his sister Merlyn (Sarah Paulson) and threats from the town's evil sheriff, Lucas Buck (Gary Cole).
