A comedy spinoff of "The Golden Girls" about a widowed pediatrician, Harry Weston, and his relationships with his daughters as he struggles to succeed in his new bachelor life. As one of the most eligible bachelors in Miami, he is contantly pursued by mature females. He shares a home with his two adult daughters: Carol, the eldest, is a neurotic divorcee; middle daughter Barbara is a self-assured policewoman. His youngest, Emily, is away at college. Harry's overbearing neighbor, Charley, stops by regularly to mooch food from the kitchen and trade jibes with Carol. LaVerne, Harry's nurse, is a tart-tongued Southerner.
