Balancing Act
This is a client-direct project. A single inspiration from script all the way through production, special effects and post really is the most fun way to do it - with an ad agency or without - and in the too many cooks spoil the broth sort of way, it generally produces better results.
Swimming anyone?
A multiple award-winning public service spot for The Amateur Athletic Foundation's annual swimming program, now in it's 27th year. Spoiler: The original storyboard showed the point of view of a woman approaching a backyard pool. Turning the camera around revealed this exceptional performance by a wonderful actor and let the viewer's imagination do a lot of the work.
Moosehead Bar Babes
A fun Moosehead beer commercial for tbwa\chiat\day. A good spot as long as you you don't think about it too much.
Lucile The Imperial Sugar Lady
Lucile became a celebrity at a hundred years old after appearing in this Imperial Sugar spot. The spot was so popular, The Dallas Morning News ran a three-column article about her several years later after she passed away.
You Drink. You Drive. You Walk.
Don't ever get a DUI. It goes on forever, even after the commercial is over. You don't see many :45 second commercials in the States. Too bad. I think it's actually the best length for the little buggers.
