Job Description

We are looking for a Prop Master / Prop Fabricator Lead to help manage, design, prototype, and coordinate the fabrication of absurd, comedic props for an upcoming comedy series. You’ll collaborate directly with the show creators to manage and facilitate the production of props that are strange "products" in our universe, bringing them to life quickly through rapid prototyping, fabrication, and creative problem-solving.

The ideal candidate has experience building unusual props or practical effects and is comfortable working with and outsourcing tools such as 3D printing, rapid prototyping, fabrication materials, and maker networks. You should enjoy figuring out how to build strange things fast and making them camera-ready.

Example products might include a ridiculous kitchen gadget, a bizarre toy, or an over-the-top lifestyle invention. The tone leans comedic and satirical, but the products should feel as realistic and plausible as possible.

Experience with managing the department and multiple prop fabrications at a time, 3D printing, practical builds, some electronics, and sourcing specialty materials or makers is strongly preferred.
