Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum (DOE) + benefits

The Role
We’re seeking a talented 3D Animator to bring characters, creatures, and environments to life. You’ll work within a collaborative pipeline using Maya, Blender, and Unreal Engine, delivering cinematic-quality motion for broadcast and interactive projects.
Key Responsibilities

Create fluid, expressive character animation (biped, quadruped, and stylized)
Animate props, vehicles, and environmental effects with physical accuracy
Collaborate with riggers, modelers, and directors to meet creative briefs
Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining technical standards
Optimize animations for real-time engines (Unreal/Unity) when required
Contribute to motion-capture clean-up and hand-keyed enhancements

Essential Skills & Experience

3+ years professional 3D animation experience (games, film, or TV)
Expert in Maya; strong knowledge of Blender and MotionBuilder
Solid grasp of weight, timing, spacing, and acting principles
Experience with Unreal Engine 5 animation blueprints and sequencer
Portfolio demonstrating realistic and stylized work
Eligible to work in the UK (we sponsor Tier 2 visas for exceptional candidates)

Bonus Points

Python/MEL scripting for pipeline tools
Motion capture editing (Rokoko, Xsens)
Experience in Houdini for procedural animation
Published titles or broadcast credits
