Job Description

Tasks:

Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and oversee engineers, software development managers, and cross-functional teams.
Indicate team structures, positions, and duties.
Promote a positive, cooperative, and productive work atmosphere.
Strategy and Planning:
Develop and carry out a software development plan in accordance with corporate goals.
Oversee the technology roadmap, allocating project priorities based on business needs and return on investment.
Ensure that software systems are scalable, maintainable, and safe.

Project Administration:
Control the timetables for the planning, carrying out, and delivering of software projects.
Ensure adherence to development best practices, QA protocols, and code standards.
Keep an eye on budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.

Technical Advice:
Offer guidance on system architecture, technology choices, and design patterns.
To increase productivity and efficacy, investigate novel frameworks, methods, and technology.
Solve complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
Cooperation between interested parties:
Collaborate with leaders in product management, operations, business, and UX/UI.
Translate technical plans into business needs.
Update stakeholders and executives on the project's status, risks, and outcomes.

Continuous Improvement:
Promote the application of agile methodologies and continuous delivery strategies.
Encourage professional growth, training, and information exchange among the team.
Monitor KPIs and metrics to assess team performance and software quality.

Crucial prerequisites:
a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
eight to fifteen years or more of experience in software development, with at least three to five of those years spent in a leadership role.
proven ability to manage large projects and many software development teams.
good familiarity with software architecture, development processes, and modern technology.
knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
