Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Interpreter & Translator to provide accurate and culturally appropriate language services for our organization. The ideal candidate will facilitate communication across languages through interpretation and translation, ensuring clarity and understanding in both written and spoken communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide oral interpretation during meetings, conferences, presentations, and client interactions.

Translate written documents including reports, emails, manuals, contracts, and marketing materials from [Source Language] to [Target Language] and vice versa.

Ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity in all translations and interpretations.

Review and edit translations done by others for consistency and quality.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper terminology and context is used in translations.

Assist in localization projects, adapting content for different cultural and linguistic audiences.

Stay updated on language trends, terminology, and relevant industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Fluency in [Source Language(s)] and [Target Language(s)], with excellent grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic understanding.

Proven experience in interpreting and translating in professional settings.

Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.

Excellent listening, comprehension, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Familiarity with translation software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) is a plus.

Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or related field preferred.

Knowledge of industry-specific terminology (legal, medical, technical, etc.) is advantageous.
