Job Description

I am seeking a great, experienced comedic Director and Producer to shoot the Pilot of my comedy series, DK the gig. A cross between Curb Your Enthusiasm, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and The Office, the series is not just about a musician, but a universally-relatable series about a very-rough-around-the-edges-but-still-likeable middle-aged underachiever and the group of very quirky and flawed people who are all stuck in his orbit.

This has been quite the rollercoaster ride, but in a nutshell, the show has had a lot of interest and momentum in the past, and just when things were really about to take off, Covid hit and pulled the plug on the entire production. It was pulled together once again, and Covid killed that attempt as well. At that point, I had had enough and put the show on the shelf to work on other projects. Now that Covid is not the issue it once was, I am ready to get back to it and want to film a full-length Pilot episode.

I am looking for crafty professionals with real attention-to-detail, whose sensibilities align with this series, to do something of quality, and something really fun. I just want to make this pilot amazing, and that's all I'm focusing on right now.
