We’re excited to expand our team and we are currently seeking an additional dynamic and talented Production Manager (Videographer) to join us.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Production Manager (Videographer), you have the pivotal role of overseeing the A-Z creation and execution of video content, from concept development to final delivery, across a range of content and broadcast platforms. You will closely with the team and clients to ensure that the project’s vision for the project is realized and stay on schedule. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, and a proven track record in producing engaging and shareable content.
This a full-time permanent position on-site in the Toronto, Ontario office.
WE WILL TRUST YOU TO… (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualize and develop video content.
• Manage all aspects of video production, including shooting, and editing.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance creative output and efficiency.
• Coordinate with the team to efficiently schedule the use of media rooms.
• Coordinate logistics and setup of media rooms, participants (such as hosts and guests) to ensure a seamless filming process.
• Uphold quality standards and adhere to project timelines and budgets.
• Continuously evaluate and refine production processes to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Undertake additional ad hoc assignments and duties as assigned.
YOU WILL NEED TO BE/BRING… (QUALIFICATIONS)
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Production Manager (Videographer) or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative work.
• Demonstrate experience in producing news-style packages, live streams, and talk shows is preferred.
• Proficiency in camera operation, lighting, audio management, and related equipment.
• Proficiency in post-production software (Ex. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci or similar tools) is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills,
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of the mining and/or finance and investment related is a plus.
