Job Description

We are a full service video production company based in Brooklyn. We specialize in documentary storytelling but we produce all types of work. We would like to find someone passionate about filmmaking and eager to bring this passion into all the work we produce. Check out our work: www.rota6.com

Our core team is small but we have long, good standing relationships with our freelancer partners who we consider family. We have been in business for 11 years and are looking for someone who has a love of film and wants to grow with us. We value ambition, initiative, creative thinking and hard work.

About the role:
The Project Coordinator will help manage and oversee creative development on projects from inception to completion, assuming responsibility for day-to-day management of the process and workflow. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships with your teams and clients, being a key client contact on a daily basis. Responsibilities include project scoping and planning, leading the process, and ensuring that projects are delivered at the highest quality, on time and on budget.

*This is a temporary contracted position that could lead to a full time position so we are looking for people who would be interested in something more permanent down the road.

Studio hours are 10am-6pm but hours are ultimately determined by the projects on hand

Role and Responsibilities:
- Clearly define the project parameters and manage the process, workflow, plan, schedule, teams and clients to ensure we always deliver the best possible product on time and on budget
- Liaison between client and creative teams
- Clearly communicate solutions to clients and effectively manage client expectations
- Manage the workflow process all the way through all stages of production, from pre-production to production to post production
- Scout and manage teams locally and in other cities
- Interview/Pre-screen talent and subject matter experts
- Manage the feedback and revision process to ensure quality is upheld and projects remain in scope

Requirements:
- 3+ years experience project coordinating
- Strong social and communication skills
- Strong familiarity of creative applications
- Creative and strategic mindset - bring your own problem solving skills to the table
- Ability and drive to self-start and work well independently, as well as collaborate favorably in a team environment
- Has a high standard in the work they produce, always pushing beyond the scope of the project
- Good with Excel and Budgeting
- Time management skills*
- Experience working full time at a video production house, digital/advertising/marketing agency is a plus
- Must be willing and able to work in person at our studio
- Must have an interest in traveling for work
