Job Description

Energime University is developing a television series aimed towards a "tween" demographic (10-17). The program will encourage the proactive efforts of that specific age group to become more involved in protecting our fragile environment and becoming better stewards of our finite natural resources. This is all part of a much larger effort by Energime University(A 501-3c charitable organization and United Nations Impact Partner) to help support sustainable economic development. Those are the jobs and initiatives that support the management of our food, energy, water, and waste. Children and young people are a key group we hope to influence at this critical time in our history.

We are looking to shoot a pilot show as a prelude to a continuing series and are searching for a production coordinator and supportive technical talent in order to facilitate that goal. So far we have put together a rather formidable team to bring this project to completion.

Pamela Peeters who produced and hosted more than 200 episodes of “Our Planet” lifestyle TV series, dedicated to promoting and mainstreaming sustainable lifestyles will Direct. She also developed and produced 11 episodes of the Sustainable Planet film festival in the USA, Belgium, Jordan and Bahrain for the UNESCO Decade on Sustainable Education as part of the US partnership and is a widely published author of books and articles on sustainable economic development. Phyl Macomber(Co-producer), who is a nationally renowned children's educator, author, and the developer of the "P.A.C.T " system will handle on and off-air content format and educational support efforts.

And myself, William Sosinsky (Co-producer) founder of Energime University, published author, regular speaker at the UN, consultant to governments on issues of sustainable development will make up the initial core of our production staff. I will be writing most of the content for the show as that knowledge is my specific area of expertise.(It helps that I studied {non-matriculated} at the Tisch School back in the 1980's to help facilitate those scripts!)

So far we have support groups(Partners) lined up in a variety of foreign countries who will be contributing and distributing our content once we develop the show. These countries include Belgium, Germany, the Philippines, Jordan, The Emirates, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and over 30 more countries around the world. We are hoping the BBC will pick the show up as they have shown initial interest in our content. Otherwise we have good contacts at the Discovery Network and a few smaller potential European and South American networks.

We are looking for a team to build the show with the promise of long term employment on a project that will have a huge impact on our future.
