Shooting GoPro360 rigs, ingesting hundreds of GB an hour - fun!

Recordist on KiPros and playback of clips from XDCams, fun show and great people.

I was EVS operator on the Black Entertainment (BET) Awards. There I recorded the show in both multiple iso streams, clean and dirty feeds, over three days. I changed incoming feeds to the EVS between events by repatching fiber cables. After recording I then sub clipped these varied streams and sent them to over 20 FCP and Avid systems, for use in promotion, web streaming, copyright filing and highlights reels. This was all greatly simplified by using the IP director, which enabled me to target where specific clips were being sent, at what resolution, and send multiple clips of different quality to specific targets simultaneously. This allowed me to continue working and clipping the media while the files were being generated and sent out over the network. The clean efficiency of the design was a joy to work with.
