An ordinary night out with ‘The Boys’ turns into a nightmare when sixteen-year-old Tom, driven by the desire to fit in, makes a series of reckless decisions.
Tom would do anything to be friends with Jake and his mates. When he is finally invited to hang out with the boys one Saturday night, he tells his mum he’s off to the movies and rushes out of the house in his best clothes.
A bottle of rum fuels a destructive rampage. Determined to up the ante, Jake directs the boys to hurl beer bottles at a house. Incensed by constant bullying, Tom lobs a bottle at the house, smashing a window.
Ecstasy quickly turns to fear as the house lights switch on. Someone is home.
