With an eviction notice taped to his door and a new melody bursting from his horn, journeyman jazz saxophonist, Teddy Bender, needs his former lover and lyricist, CeCe McCoy, to put down the words and their former band leader, Bobby B, to produce the song. Problem is, neither one wants to ever speak with him again.
