When Emma Hauser, an executive in charge of a coporate move, finds herself locked on the roof of her workplace with her estranged lover, Henry Smith, she is forced to confront her entire way of life as well as the lovelorn and increasingly unstable Mr. Smith. As hours slip into days with no rescue in sight, they learn to survive on the roof by eating pigeons and drinking rainwater. Soon Emma realizes the terrible truth; the only hope of survival will be a mind control battle with herself, her past and the madness of Henry Smith.
