Narrative Short Drama - Hard Music) is a jazz drama about a gifted trumpeter (Earl) whose relentless pursuit of perfection fractures his band, his love life, and his own peace of mind. Earl is haunted by the death of his mother and on one of his visits to a local park, he meets a young girl, Halla, who persists in asking questions and he realizes she may have insight as to what is troubling him.
Project Dates TBD; one location has been confirmed (cafe in Chestertown, MD). 2 other locations (local park and jazz club) to be confirmed at a later date. Seeking an experienced Gaffer in or near Maryland Eastern Shore, Baltimore, MD, Annapolis, MD or Wilmington, DE.
We will provide meals and crafty, travel and mileage, screen credit, copy of the film and access to high-quality stills and bts footage will be provided for your professional reel and portfolio. Kit fee is negotiable. Day rate: $350-$500. Estimated 5 shoot days.
