Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Market Research Analyst to join our team and provide actionable insights that will shape the future of our games and business strategy. The ideal candidate is passionate about gaming, has strong analytical skills, and can translate data into meaningful recommendations for product, marketing, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

Market Intelligence & Trends

Monitor and analyze gaming industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Identify opportunities for growth in new genres, platforms, and markets.

Player & Consumer Insights

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research (surveys, interviews, focus groups, A/B testing, community feedback).

Segment player audiences and analyze behavioral data to understand motivations, preferences, and engagement patterns.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Use analytics tools and market research methodologies to generate actionable insights.

Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for cross-functional stakeholders.

Translate complex data into clear, concise narratives for decision-making.

Collaboration

Partner with product managers, game designers, and marketing teams to support product development and go-to-market strategies.

Provide input into business cases for new games, features, or monetization models.

Work closely with BI and data analytics teams to integrate internal data with external market research.

Leadership & Mentorship

Guide junior analysts and ensure research quality and consistency.

Establish best practices for market research within the company.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field (Master’s preferred).

5+ years of market research or consumer insights experience (gaming, entertainment, or tech industry preferred).

Strong knowledge of gaming industry dynamics (PC, console, mobile, live-service, F2P, etc.).

Expertise in research methodologies: quantitative (surveys, data modeling) and qualitative (focus groups, ethnography).

Proficiency with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Excel, SPSS, R, or Python).

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to executives and non-technical teams.

Passion for video games and understanding of player communities.
