Job Description

We are seeking a creative and passionate Game Designer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and balancing engaging gameplay systems, levels, and mechanics. You will work closely with artists, programmers, and other team members to bring innovative ideas to life and deliver unforgettable player experiences.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of game design principles, the ability to translate concepts into playable systems, and the vision to ensure the game is fun, accessible, and immersive. From brainstorming concepts to fine-tuning final gameplay, you will play a key role in shaping the overall direction and success of the project.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and document game concepts, mechanics, and systems.
- Design levels, missions, and interactive features that enhance player engagement.
- Collaborate with the art and programming teams to ensure cohesive implementation of designs.
- Balance gameplay elements such as difficulty, pacing, and rewards.
- Conduct playtesting, gather feedback, and iterate designs based on results.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into design.
- Communicate design vision clearly to stakeholders and team members.

Skills Requirement:
Essential Skills:
- Strong knowledge of game design theory, mechanics, and player psychology.
- Proficiency with game design tools and engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
- Ability to create clear design documents and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
- Experience with prototyping and iterating based on feedback.
- Understanding of balancing systems, economy design, or level flow.

Preferred Skills:
- Basic scripting or programming knowledge (C#, C++, or similar).
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
- Experience with 2D/3D modeling or animation tools.
- Previous involvement in shipped game projects (professional or indie).
- Passion for video games across multiple genres and platforms.
