Job Description

We are seeking an experienced candidate who has successfully raised funds for multiple documentaries, including at least one feature-length film. Our current objective is to raise $50,000 via crowdfunding, with the remaining $200,000 to be secured from donor organizations and investors. While we prefer individuals with crowdfunding experience, we are open to candidates who have worked in fundraising through grants, investors, and donor organizations.

The position pays $31 per hour and requires a commitment of 16 hours per week initially, with potential for additional hours. Please note that we do not offer a commission on funds raised, as all funds raised will be allocated to the project.

Our project, Safe Sets, focuses on highlighting health and safety concerns within the motion picture industry. The film touches on topics such as mental health struggles, gender and race representation, exposures to toxic materials, sleep deprivation, stunt accidents, and more. We are honored to have secured interviews with prominent figures in the film industry, including Jon Hamm, John Malkovich, Maryann Brandon, Amy Greene, Liisa Cohen, Mark Ulano, Doreen Manuel, and many others.

The ideal candidate should have a track record of reaching out to high-profile individuals for donations.
