Job Description

Summary:

Invoice Rentals Orders from Los Angeles and Vancouver. Record entry into QuickBooks and Sage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Accountant will be asked to handle preparation of financial statements, performing monthly reconciliations, monitoring and verifying payments and tracking purchases. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, excellent attention to detail, prioritizes accuracy and lives in the surrounding area.
• R2 Invoicing and sending to clients (Long term periodic billing)
• R2 rental invoicing to Sage import
• R2 Sub Match to AP
• Sub rental posting to Sage
• Calculate credit card payments ( Visa & Amex)
• Inventory Transfer from Sage to R2
• Loss and Damage -Invoicing
• Canada Accounting including AP/AR

Education Skills: Ability to read and write in English. Ability to speak effectively and to communicate with co-workers and customers. Must have basic mathematics skills.
Reasoning Ability: Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must be able to anticipate problems related to job description and report these to supervisor as soon as you are aware of them.
Equipment Used: Computer with R-2 and Sage rental and customer program, printers, rental equipment.
Work Environment: The work environment encompasses a motion picture equipment warehouse and prep facility involved with delicate inventory. The noise level is moderate.
