Kit (Kit.com) moves the medical exam into the home, making health testing simpler, easier and more reliable for patients. Kit enables healthcare companies – including its parent company Ro, as well as telehealth providers and hospitals – to send a test kit to a patient's home with the click of a button. With Kit, patients no longer have to go into a doctor’s office to receive certain exams or visit a lab for a diagnostic test—they can do it all from the comfort of their home.

Our office and CLIA and CAP-accredited clinical laboratory are located in the Dogpatch district in downtown San Francisco. We offer medical benefits, catered lunch, and the opportunity to work across different functions in the company to make a significant impact in the future of healthcare.

Kit’s vision is to make at-home health testing simple, convenient and available to every industry. Patients and physicians rely on Kit’s diagnostic testing to make informed health decisions. Companies rely on Kit’s testing to keep their employees healthy and to make underwriting decisions on their customers.

We’re looking for someone who’s naturally creative. With skills and experience in both pre and post-production. You love working on a team just as much as you enjoy owning your own set of tasks. Communicating within the stakeholders both inside and outside the company including other directors, producers and editors in a fast-paced environment comes easily to you. You are also resourceful, responsive, and eager to get the job done.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to be considered for this position, you MUST provide a link to your demo reel and have a willingness to work onsite.

What You'll Do:
Work closely with our Creative Director to develop, create, and produce videos, including instructional videos for our product set
Help writers to write Voice Over dialogue that helps convey the right messaging for highly technical products
Edit both live action and animation projects
Edit audio and sound design on projects
Manage media assets and archiving on all company projects
Assist with department operation: client relations, asset tracking, on-set production, production coordination etc.
Engage in opportunities to develop original content and concepts for web and mobile
Create motion graphics and animations using 2D and 3D applications for marketing and promotional usage, or work with experts who have this capability to get the most out of outsourced resources

What You Bring:
Real world videography and production experience
Knowledge of the video production process: directing, filming, interviewing, boarding, editing, encoding, uploading, and managing media
Production skills: photography and videography, camera operation, sound, lighting, and quality sound capture
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programs (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, etc.)
Strong understanding of post-production workflow
Good knowledge of contemporary cameras, file formats, codecs, and their proper handling in a post workflow
Must be extremely organized and able to successfully reach deadlines
Comfortable with G Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc.)
Audio post production experience is a plus (recording, mixing, scoring, etc)
The ability to communicate needs in a positive and productive fashion
Proven range of both pre-production and post-production skills.
Coachable, self-driven and motivated
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent real-world, hands-on experience
