Looking for an experienced (preferably NYC-area-based) Post Coordinator for a long-running HGTV show. Starting asap, for at least 3 months, potentially a long term position!
Responsible for supporting the Post Teams (Management, Producers, Editors, Assistant Editors, Transcribers) and liaising with other departments to help us keep the show running smoothly.
Main responsibilities:
o Coordinate/Update weekly schedules and send out Post meeting alerts
o Coordinate footage arrival from field through Post Preparation for Edit
o Acquisition/Organization of digital field paperwork for use in Post/Deliverables
o Coordinate and track Graphics workflow
o Coordinate/Liaise with Rights & Clearances and Edit teams
o Coordinate team of Transcribers
o Coordinate Pass Off of cut sequences to appropriate Executive for note passes
o Update Milestone Episode Tracker in alignment with schedule
o Voiceover – Schedule with talent and agency, and gather materials for sessions
o Oversee Network Delivery/Archiving of digital deliverables (Splits, GFX, Final Show Masters etc.)
o Facilitate IT requests as necessary
Requirements/Nice to have:
o A comfortable place in which to work, as we are currently all remote. We will supply you with a laptop to work from.
o Basic Working Knowledge of Avid/Premiere/Media Encoder/Photoshop desired
o Familiarity with Digital Media Management a plus, but not required
