Job Description

Get Me Out Productions is a Los Angeles based production company specializing in original television content. Get Me Out was the first independent production company in South Carolina, selling shows to major networks across the United States and 48 countries internationally. Now based in West Hollywood, CA, Get Me Out Productions is currently in production for new television content and in distribution for Season 1 of the reality tv show, Men of West Hollywood.

About the Role:

In this role as Content Acquisition Specialist you will support the Production Division by maintaining important relationships with our existing content partners, negotiating deal terms for new content partners, and reaching out to future content partners to add to our list of network contacts.

You will participate in the content acquisition process - tracking and evaluating programming opportunities, defining our US first-run TV and co-production content strategy, identifying new opportunities and negotiating directly with our content partners, and working across the company to operationalize the deals our team has negotiated.

Responsibilities:
• Grow relationships with GMO's leading content partners
• Work with the studios & networks to negotiate content deals for high-value content and content licensing rights
• Negotiate content avails to get more movies and TV shows
• Identify, explore, and strategize content acquisition opportunities

Your Background:
• Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
• At least 2+ years of prior content acquisition, deal negotiation and/or content valuation experience
• Excellent business relationship building skills
• Strong quantitative skills and understanding of how to measure content value and performance
• Ability to navigate a variety of content management systems and data analysis tools
• Experience in selling content, pitching and distribution is a major plus
