Job Description : Post Production Assistant

Position Summary
Story Syndicate’s Post Production Assistant (PA) is responsible for providing support to the post team, and working with the Post Supervisor

Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the Post Supervisor

Functions and Responsibilities
Provide general support to areas of Post Production.
Organization and distribution of company materials and media assets including archival footage and music libraries.
Management and tracking of hard drives and shuttle drives.
Assistance with ingesting materials and organization of files in Avid.
Organize and update cue sheets and other non-airing deliverables.
Update and organize VFX/GFX trackers for the team, including assigning numbers to the shots.
Assistance to the department with overflow.
Receive materials at office – including drives, packages, camera kits, etc.
Maintaining and keeping office / post facilities clean and organized.
Assisting with office / post runs.
