Job Description

We are a full-service Stop Motion Animation Studio currently looking for a COVID-19 Coordinator that will play a primary role in company’s COVID taskforce and response. The Coordinator will take the lead on contact tracing and tracking, wellness screens, vaccine roll out, follow ups and implementation of COVID programs across all sites as well as help to administer additional initiatives such as coordinating on-site testing. As part of the contact tracing efforts they are responsible to reaching out to team members who have been exposed to COVID-19 and providing health education, instructions for self-quarantine, make appropriate referrals to testing and provide guidance to interrupt ongoing disease transmission and reduce operational impacts. This position will require prioritization, prompt action, and attention to detail in documentation and data management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Be the primary point of contact for PPE, wellness check compliance, testing and contact tracing
•Work with all crew members to understand day-to-day COVID safety protocols and guidelines for a safe workplace
•Work with HR and Production to develop, implement and oversee daily wellness screening plan for crew
•Keep meticulous records and track health data confidentially
•Coordinate weekly COVID-19 on-site testing program and tracking test results
•Ensuring Crew members are current with their testing and wellness screenings
•Oversee contract tracing program to limit exposure
•Ordering Personal Protective Equipment and managing distribution to crew members
•Ordering additional protective equipment such as Air Purifiers, etc. as needed
•Perform studio walkthrough spotchecks to ensure crew members are following protocols, wearing facemasks and physically distancing. Additionally limiting gatherings of any size, identifying traffic bottlenecks, maintaining sanitizing stations, and more.
•Document and maintain up to date trackers for COVID-19 updates and exposures within the workplace. Coordinate with company to ensure that all positive test results are communicated to our worker’s compensation provider timely.
•Stay abreast of the latest information related to COVID-19 and bring relevant updates to the COVID Task Force. Make recommendations on updated protocols based on the latest scientific data and information from trusted sources such as the World Health Organization and the Center for Disease Control. Update internal policies and procedures and internal postings as necessary.
•Verify the contact’s identity during initial communications and prior to disclosing confidential information. Assure confidentiality and carry out efforts to locate and communicate with team members in a manner that preserves to confidentiality and privacy of all involved.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Bachelor degree preferred
•2-3 years coordinator level experience
•Experience working in a production environment preferred
•General understanding of COVID transmission and contact tracing protocols. CDC Contact Tracer a plus
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening, emotional intelligence
•Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to use sound judgment in responding to crew member issues and concerns
•Ability to use discretion, maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct
•Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, establishing and maintaining collaborative professional relationships
•Strong time management skills (organization, prioritization, multitasking)
•Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
•Willingness to follow COVID and general health and safety guidelines as detailed by company when/if physical production is required
