Job Description

My visual style is surreal. We will be designing a few sets. The main two are twilight and reality. Twilight consists of covering the room with a cloth/paper material and more. Reality consists of specific objects/colors that reflect Estra's emotional state. I need a designer who can look at the unseen and bring a set to life. Few locations for scenes still need to be scouted.

Project Details
"Estra Love," a short film. Logline: In a foggy winter, between the mind, reality, and twilight, Estra must learn to love and accept the biggest opponent she has ever faced - herself. Estra Love is a surreal exploration on the exposure and condition of human identity and spirit. Set with moments of light-heartedness and brokenness, due to trauma, Estra navigates her next steps of life through two conflicting sides - twilight and reality. Estra must learn to love and accept the biggest opponent she has ever faced - herself.

The film is about awareness and self love. I'm pushing big for this short film - hit the festival circuit leading up to the Academy. It will also be placed at educational institutions and various circuits. As a writer/director and producer, I will be pulling double or triple duty to get this made. Once in production, I'll be strictly in the directors role. Actresses are being looked at with the casting director/wardrobe dept. - leading to auditions. I have an amazing Director of Photography who wants to shoot the project(created shot list). And a fantastic co-producer who will make sure the project is pushed on schedule.

Pay is TBD. The budget is very tight. I will build a campaign to gain necessary funding. At the moment, it is a labor of love. This film has to get made! It has the potential to be something.
Food/catering and copy of project provided. Shoot dates TBD in L.A.
