If the world doesn't end we'll be shooting a dramatic high-art cinematic short-form film early to middle summer in Joshua Tree, CA. It's a paid per diem day rate, accommodations will be covered. Awesome for experience! You'll be running camera batters/cards (Arri, great if you have experience if not a great attitude will do), making coffee, helping with lighting and talent--with some Hollywood clout (John Henry Davis director of HBO's Oz, the cinematographer from Gorillas in the Midst and Robinhood, actors from Orange is the New Black and the director from an original fashion docuseries) the connections you make on this set might be groundbreaking for you-- plus you'll see some of the best direction of actors by John Henry Davis, he's directed broadway musicals and motion pictures for over 50 years and is on fire when he works with actors by supporting them as they breakout and thrive in roles. Only caveat is if you’re more passionate about your mobile phone than film, this isn’t the production for you—you likely won’t have mobile signal in Joshua Tree so if this prospect excites you, you belong on set :)
If you’re interested please me an email with a reference from your last production. First time on a set (no problem), just tell me why you want this position.
