Job Description

Seeking a 1st Asst. Director for a period film set in 1960s Cuba titled "Rich Like Julio Lobo". The script was a FINALIST in the WeScreenplay Diverse Voices Screenplay Competition. MPI (Moving Picture Institute) will produce. MPI intends to produce a 15-20 minute short of the film to find partners for the feature length version.

The Pietri Brothers co-wrote the script. Gianpaolo Pietri (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm6851681/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1) will direct the film and Alessandro Pietri (www.alessandropietri.com) will serve as cinematographer. Their banner, Syntropy Creative, will co-produce alongside MPI.

The director, Gianpaolo Pietri, is looking for someone he can trust to be his right hand and bring great creative energy and a collaborative spirit to the set. He is looking for a disciplined first AD, who can run a clean and efficient set during production. He is looking for someone who is great with people, but knows when to close ranks and get the job done effectively. He would like someone who can build a rapport with, that may last into future productions.

Pre-production: April 10 - April 30
Production: May 1 - June 15
Post-Production: June 15 - August 30

Production is expected to take 3-7 days in the month of May.
Daily rates are negotiable.
