Job Description

ROLE:
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Editor to join our "Squad!"

The perfect candidate is a detail-oriented, excellent multi-tasker with the flexibility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately in a rapid-paced environment amid tight deadlines. You are an exceptional problem solver with the ability to take and give direction with a level head that prevails even when under stress.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create multiple backups for all incoming assets
Ingest/Transcode media into NLE
Organization of folder structures, proper naming schemes, etc. of all footage kept on the shared area network storage
Creating & organization of offline projects for editors
Create shot logs
Compress cuts for client and producer approval.
Online/Audio prep EPK assemblies and featurettes.
Export, QC, and deliver final files to producing staff for client delivery

QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of professional editorial experience required
Expertise of PREMIERE 2019
Extensive understanding of shared area network storage
Strong knowledge of AVID
Understanding of frame rates, conversions, & codecs
1+ year of professional Electronic Press Kit (EPK) editing and assembling experience is a plus
Any AVID, APPLE, Adobe Certifications a plus
Photoshop a plus

EDUCATION:
Bachelors’ degree, or equivalent experience
