I'm looking to hire a Sound Mixer/Engineer for an upcoming SAG-AFTRA short film "Anxiety". This is a small production with two actors and a few other crew members shooting in central Los Angeles. We are fully funded and casted and intend to shoot in late July. The film will be submitted to several festivals this fall.
Description: A man and woman stress over their looming date. When it begins, nothing goes according to plan.
Shoot Length: Two days, tentatively scheduled for the third week of July. We do not envision we will need all of both days but are scheduling for them as a contingency.
Locations: Two, West Hollywood and Miracle Mile
Run Time: 10 minutes
Compensation: Hourly, negotiable depending on candidate's experience level. Additional compensation available for a candidate who will provide their own equipment.
The ideal candidate is someone interested in being a collaborator. Our most crucial scene is set in an exterior location overlooking a busy thoroughfare. Consequentially, managing sound will be crucial in delivering the desired result. We are willing to adjust the script, direction, etc to ensure the desired outcome.
Please feel free to inquire with any questions.
