Job Description

We are a creative agency that focuses on telling our clients unique brand story. We are currently looking for budding freelance editors/assistant editors to be involved in a wide variety of post projects.

This is an entry/intermediate position. We do everything from cutting corporate recap videos to high end digital commercial spots.

Good working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro CC is a must. Knowledge in Avid Media composer and Photoshop is a huge plus, as we do a lot of work on these two platforms as well. A lot of our projects are cut to music, so a good sense of rhythm and timing is important. Great attitude and a team player mentality is an absolute must!

Our main studio is in Playa Vista; however, we are a remote operation that can accommodate editors working from their home systems. Coming into the studio a couple time a week will be needed however, in order for everyone to be on the same page as well as to work collaboratively.

Employment will be based on a per project basis to start with, with the opportunity for more longer term employment.

We are looking to hire 2 assistant editor

Duties include:
- logging, syncing, multi-clipping footage
- pulling selects
- string outs
- performing revisions on projects
- Doing basic first cuts on projects if applicable
- searching, and finding music for projects
- archiving and organization of media
