Job Description

We are seeking a Gaffer for our production of B-Sides; a digital series centered on the friendship of four women navigating public triumph and private pain; but when the illusions begin to dissolve, each woman must face what remains.

You will be a part of an already great team of producers, writers, and creatives dedicated to telling relevant and timely stories. The small team has worked tirelessly for the past year crafting a truly passionate and thought-provoking story. The creators and executive producers believe in this project so much that they have invested their own money - a third of funds- and are currently crowdfunding the remaining which will cover costs of Insurance, Locations, Equipment, Cinematography, Sound, and Editing basically. With that being said, we offer a limited monetary payment, however, we do offer copy, IMDb credit, inclusion in all press materials and meals; as well as the opportunity to build your own portfolio.

The gaffer will be primarily responsible for developing a lighting plan according to the desires of the Director of Photography. The gaffer will inform the best boy and key grip on where and which lights are to be placed. The gaffer is in charge of creating the best possible lighting scenario according to the camera framing.

The dates of service would be on 12/6, 12/8, and 12/9.
