Job Description

Seeking a skilled semi-professional or experienced student sound operator/location sound engineer to record on-location sound for a four-day short film shoot January 3-6th, 2019 in Palo Alto, CA. The short film is called "Going to Die!" and is a dark dramedy premised on a personfied Death influencing the lives of two young lovers, Will and Maya. Written and directed by a duo of Stanford University students, Patrick Donovan and Minh-Ahn Day, "Going to Die!" will be a twenty minute short film for the Stanford Univeristy Honors in the Arts program. Our cinematographer is from NYU, our composer is from USC, and we are looking to cast actors with professional experience. We will be submitting the film to festivals and are in need of an experienced sound person to record on set sound with skill. We are able to provide food on shoot days as well as compensation. If you come with your own sound equipment, we may be able to increase your compensation a bit. We are hoping to find someone willign to work for $100-$150 per day, but are willing to negotiate.
