Job Description

Our documentary The Six, is about Chinese passengers onboard Titanic. It will be released in the Chinese cinemas in June 2019. We are looking for an editor, who has the experience of working on detective stories similar to documentary series The Keepers (Netflix) and Making A Murderer (Netflix) . We hope the editor has the ability to build emotional moments in to the film, to make our audience cry, laugh, angry, or proud…

We are based in Shanghai and are currently in full production, with shoots still due in Canada, the US in November. Ideally, we would like to have someone with us in the edit suite from beginning of Jan 2019, throughout till beginning April, 2019. We are planning to have a theatrical release in June 2019. We will have an assembly at 20-30 hours by mid December.

We can arrange a skype call to establish the possibility of bringing the editor (if not based in China) to Shanghai and explore the Shanghai life for a short while and work on an interesting story that might get the Chinese audience amazed.
