Job Description

Position: Editor - Episodic, Short Form Doc-Style (Adobe Premiere)

Location: 346 Grand Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211

Start Date: Sept 4th, 2018

End Date: Nov 17th, 2018 - TBC

Schedule: 6 to 10 weeks, Full Time Freelance

Mon – Fri, regular office hours are 9a – 7p, but post production hours and days will fluctuate based on project needs.

Please note: our post production schedule for this series includes a handful of down days due to feedback turnaround. Our ideal candidates are flexible to have the occasional weekday off. Weekend work is not currently scheduled but weekend flexibility is helpful.

Rate: $450/day

Series Info:

Ghost Robot is producing an exciting doc-style short form episodic web series in partnership with a major web media partner. Final episodes will be 5-15 mins in total runtime. We’re seeking freelance editors who work in Adobe Premiere with doc-style episodic experience.

Key Traits

2-3 years experience in episodic video editing
Shorter form (under 15min TRT) + doc-style experience
Experience with After Effects a plus
Experience with DaVinci Resolve a plus
NYC local
