Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute sales plan for LA Grip Studios
• Data entry in sales platform (invoicing and researching new capabilities of company sales platform to
improve overall database efficiency)
• Ability to learn, understand, and effectively utilize all company sales tools and platforms
• Provide weekly sales report + detailed monthly sales report : monthly sales goal = $20,000-$30,000
• Solicit, cultivate new business leads – required to provide list of new leads to LA Grip Studios Owner +
Producer in weekly sales report
• Required – regularly attend community networking events and industry related events (consult with PR
+ Communications Department regarding what events to attend) Provide list of 5 events attended per
month
• Follow-up with clients regarding all needs before, during, and after sales process. Make sure clients
needs are always met in a timely manner – must be available to client at all time (24 hours per day to
be available for upsells, and issues that may arise on set. Filming can sometimes be happening 24 hours
a day in LA)
• Attend weekly staff meetings
• Develop a deep understanding of LA Grip Studios product and offered services knowledge
• Represent the LA Grip Studios brand with high professionalism and integrity
• Coordinate operational steps that are necessary after closing a sale
• Work with PR + Communications team to strategize, brainstorm, and develop promotional ideas to
increase new sales and client/customer retention
• Create sales follow-up survey – provide to clients within 1 week after LA Grip Studios services were
provided
• Thank all new clients through email, hand written card, and provide discount voucher to potential
returning customers
• Coordinate sub-rentals

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma - Required
• Associates Degree (preferred)
• 2+ years proven sales experience and track record (industry related sales a plus!)
• 3 relevant professional references
• Genuine interest and passion for TV, Film, and Production

PAY
• Commission rate: 15% of all sales – when individual sales exceed $200,000 within a given LA Grip
Studios financial year – commission increases to $20% on all sales through the end of that financial
year
• Projected salary based on sales history: $40,000-$60,000 annually
• On going bonus opportunities
