Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Production Manager to join their small production team producing an 8 part documentary series for a premium network.

Reporting directly to the Supervising Producer this position is largely office based (in West Soho). Key responsibilities will include:

- Setting up field shoots (including liaison with overseas fixers to ensure relevant licenses, permits, etc are being obtained)
- Managing and tracking field shoot budgets
- Negotiating new vendor deals
- Crewing up BTL positions and issuing all related deal memos and paperwork
- Checking and submitting weekly time cards for payroll inclusion, and checking all invoices before submitting for processing
- Issuing and tracking POs for both field shoots and the archive team
- Oversees smooth running of production office including assisting with the unit move at the end of April (moving to another office space in the West Soho / Hudson Square area)
- Maintains and organises shared drive for all production documents and releases
- Assists Supervising Producer with monthly reconcile of accounts ledger against cost report and overall forecasting
- Trouble shoots and handles production problems as they arise
- Reporting all H&S and legal issues to Supervising Producer

Our client is looking for someone who is:
* Calm, steady and competent with an understated but authoritative presence
* Detail oriented and methodical
* Experience of setting up shoots at sound stages is a plus
* A working knowledge of MovieMagic Budgeting is also an advantage
* Has at least 6 years experience in Production Management roles (at least 3 as a Production Manager)
* Has broadcast credits on unscripted series, specialist factual and/ or feature docs
