SHOOT TO KILL NYC - Full Time Video Editor

We are a small but aggressive digital production team with a big appetite. We all wear many different hats and do many different things in the world of digital production, but together we create projects that are great. Shoot To Kill NYC is currently seeking a highly capable and experienced Video Editor to join our team full-time. Applicants should meet the qualifications below and follow the instructions outlined to apply.

OVERVIEW:
Full Time Video Editor to begin ASAP
$50,000.00/annual salary
Health care and additional paid time off benefits

QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of professional video editing experience from a post-house and/or agency level, or from a personal but WELL VERSED freelance level with proven track record of editing, project management and storytelling capabilities
Our focus is on creative storytelling and we do so within our videos
We keep a very active and regular production schedule and this position requires the ability to work through more than one project at a time, while keeping deadlines and milestones on track
Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Cloud family of applications
Experience in Adobe After Effects a plus
Experience in Final Cut Pro Studio and FCPX
Ability to work on tight deadlines and keep a positive attitude while under pressure
Experience managing video projects without direct supervision, but capable of working within a team setting under direct supervision
Ability to maintain and balance a schedule to meet client driven deadlines and milestones
Previous production experience and experience on set a huge plus

YOU WILL:
Create original, compelling video content that is primarily story driven: commercials, brand films, social media content, music videos etc.
Actively work and assist on projects starting on day 1
You will be a contributing and vital part of the overall creative process
Multi-task regularly between pending, active and upcoming projects
See projects through completion while handling managerial duties large or small (sometimes both)
