Job Description

We are looking to hire a Sound-mixer for a documentary in Suiteland, MD for 2 days (Saturday, 3/31- Sunday, 4/1) Exact hours are TBD.
Rate is $400/day including equipment.
The film is a non-union project that will consist of interviews and family sequences both indoor and outdoor.
The MD shoot will include the following shooting sequences:
• Interview between father subject & daughter
• Individual interviews with father subject & daughter
• Shoot sequences over dinner and surrounding neighborhood
• B-roll of indoor family activities, family footage and photos
Essential Equipment needed: Recorder, boom mic, 2 lavaliers.

About Us:
Asian Pride Project (APP) is an lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) arts initiative that promotes the acceptance of LGBTQ individuals in the API community through the power of storytelling. APP’s focus is on families, especially parents of LGBTQ individuals, as we understand that parents go through a coming out process too.
We are looking for a skilled sound mixer with documentary experience, and ideally own equipment. LGBTQGNC-identified or ally.
