Job Description
Broken Land is a comedy/drama about three thirty-something Brooklynites wrecking their relationships and lowering their expectations. The series unfolds in a series of vignettes, following an aspiring actress living with her acting teacher, a broken-hearted real estate agent, and a passionate artist ready to call off her engagement.
We've selected six key very producible scenes (8 pages) from the pilot to shoot and release as teasers for a fall Seed&Spark campaign intended to fund the production of the full pilot and the rest of season one. These scenes will be directed by the award-winning James E. Duff. Pre-production for the proof-of-concept scenes will begin mid-July and will wrap mid-August.
