Job Description

BRGDproductions, a TV/film production company that strives to provide equal opportunity in the entertainment industry for people with disabilities, is seeking a Director of Photography for their current project- a feature documentary.

This project follows the lives of three actors with varying disabilities. The actors are located in NYC, LA, and Atlanta, the major hubs of the film industry. As we follow their lives at different points in their careers, we aim to educate viewers, raise awareness, and start the much needed conversation surrounding the underrepresentation of this community in the industry.

In addition to our three participants, we will be conducting small interviews with established industry professionals (actors, writers, producers, directors, etc.) who either have a disability themselves or have worked with someone with a disability. We feel as though these interviews will powerfully break up the storyboard of our three main participants and will further the conversation in a direction towards progress.

We are looking for a DP for our LA portion of the film, shooting June 2-June 8. BRGDproductions is a collaborative company, this person should feel comfortable bringing their creativity, aesthetic, and direction ideas to the piece and be willing to work with Co-Directors, Patch and Kristen.
